The MEP design for a 22,000 square-foot, 3-story residential building in Westbury, NY, features 18 apartments and two white-box retail spaces. A key component of the electrical system is a substantial 2000 AMP service, specifically designed to support an Instantaneous Electric Hot Water System, thereby fulfilling unique client requirements. The HVAC configuration includes high-efficiency cold climate heat pumps tailored for optimized energy use. Additionally, a central 100% Outside Air System was incorporated to enhance ventilation and indoor air quality across the building. Collectively, these tailored MEP solutions meet both local code criteria and client-specific needs for comfort and efficiency.
