This project is 8,915 square-foot residential, 5-Story Studio unit conversion to Rental 2-Bedroom Apartment Units within the Riverside-West Historical District. This includes comprehensive mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering services to upgrade the building into modern, energy-efficient apartments. The mechanical system utilizes an R32 VRF split system with supplemental heating, offering high efficiency, reduced environmental impact, and reliable year-round comfort. The electrical system provides a 400A service for the apartments and a 200A service for house loads, meticulously designed to accommodate HVAC demand, lighting, appliances, and common area utilities. The plumbing design retains the existing centralized hot water heating system while incorporating an optimized sanitary stack layout for improved functionality and maintenance. Collectively, these integrated MEP systems elevate the building’s performance, comfort, and sustainability while aligning with NYC energy and building code standards.
